Questions about managed services
What does “managed” cover exactly?
Everything agreed in your service schedule: monitoring, incident response, patching, backups, changes and reporting for the systems in scope. A responsibility matrix in your agreement shows who does what, so nothing falls between teams.
Do we lose control of our cloud accounts?
No. Your accounts stay in your name. We work through least-privilege roles that you can review or revoke at any time, and every change we make is logged.
Can you manage systems you did not build?
Yes. Onboarding starts with an assessment of the existing environment. We fix the most urgent risks first, then bring the rest up to our standards.
How do you handle after-hours incidents?
Monitoring coverage and on-call response hours are set by your service tier and written into your agreement, including how to reach us and how quickly we respond.
Can we start small?
Yes. Many clients start with one environment or service, such as a production Kubernetes cluster or their cloud cost management, and add more over time.
