Privacy Policy
Cloudverg LLC (“Cloudverg,” “we,” “us” or “our”) is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Cloudverg operates only in the United States and has no offices, branches, subsidiaries or affiliates outside the United States.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit cloudverg.com (the “Site”), contact us, or interact with us as a business customer or prospect. Our services are offered only to businesses in the United States, and this policy is written for people located in the United States.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, work email address, company, state, optional phone number, the topic you choose and the content of your message. Customers also provide business contact and billing details under their contracts.
Information collected automatically. Our web servers and our content delivery and security provider record standard request data, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page and the date and time of the request. We use this data to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the Site.
Service data. When businesses use our services, we process network configuration and telemetry, such as traffic volumes, latency and routing information, to deliver and support those services under the customer’s contract.
2. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, prepare assessments and quotes, and provide our services.
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site and our services.
- To prevent fraud, spam and abuse, including rate limiting form submissions.
- To send service and account communications, and, where permitted, information about our products.
- To comply with law, enforce our terms and protect our rights and the rights of others.
We do not use customer service data to train AI models for other customers.
3. How we disclose information
We disclose personal information only as follows:
- Service providers that host the Site, deliver email, provide network and security services, or support our operations, under contracts that limit their use of the information to serving us.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under duties of confidentiality.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Cloudverg, our customers or others.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your direction or consent.
4. No sale or sharing for advertising
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not knowingly collect the personal information of anyone under 16.
5. Cookies
The Site uses only cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to deliver and secure it. See our Cookie Policy. Because we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking, our Site treats a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale and sharing, which we already honor by default.
6. Retention
We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you, unless a longer period is needed for an active business relationship, legal obligation or dispute. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting, generally no more than 90 days. Customer data is retained as described in the customer’s contract.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable state law.
8. Your state privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information we hold about you.
- Obtain a portable copy of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling. We do not engage in these activities.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
Some state laws apply only to consumers acting in a personal capacity, and some exempt business contact information. We will honor requests where the law applies and will consider other requests in good faith.
How to submit a request. Use our contact form and choose “Privacy request,” or email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request.” We will verify your identity by matching information you provide with information we hold, and we will respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of authorization. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Privacy appeal.” We will respond to appeals within the time required by law. If you are not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.
